Concert Review: Adore Delano: Till Death Do Us Party Tour 1/10/15

adoreRuPaul’s Drag Race Season 6 runner up and season favorite Adore Delano’s party made its way into Chicago this past Saturday (January 10, 2015) at the Bottom Lounge for one of the stops on the Drag Queen’s Till Death Do Us Party Tour. The tour is in support of her debut album which, like the tour, is titled “Till Death Do Us Party“. The album charted at #58 on the Billboard music charts and #2 on the iTunes Dance charts breaking the record of selling the most albums out of any RuPaul’s Drag Race Contestant in the history of the show.

Concert Review: Fifth Harmony: Fifth Times A Charm Tour 6/12/14

securedownload (5)Fifth Harmony brought their show to the House of Blues in Chicago this past week, June 12th, 2014 much to the delight of the groups’ fans who call themselves “Harmonizers.” The Fifth Times A Charm Tour is their first headlining tour of their career. I had the chance to meet Fifth Harmony before their show and it is obvious that they are genuinely having a great time on this journey together.

Concert Review: Tamar Braxton: Love & War Tour 6/6/2014

securedownload (1)Tamar Braxton brought down the house in Chicago this past Friday, June 6, 2014. She was in town for her sold-out Love & War Tour at the Concord Music Hall. All of Tamar’s fans, cleverly named Tamartians, were out in full force for the show to see their Queen. I had the pleasure of meeting Tamar before the show. She is an all around down to earth and humble person who hasn’t let fame get to her head. Tamar was backed by four backup dancers, two male and two female. A big screen on stage displayed different clips from her reality shows “Braxton Family Values” and “Tamar & Vince,” along with her recent music videos.
