Ne-Yo talks about Jennifer Hudson ahead of Urban One Honors 2022

Singer, songwriter, performer, producer extraordinaire, Ne-Yo is adding another occupation to his career. Ne-Yo is hosting the 4th annual Urban One Honors 2022. This year’s theme is “The Soundtrack of Black America” and being presented by T-Mobile. Honorees will include Timberland, Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Gamble & Huff, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, and Jennifer Hudson. Urban One Honors will air on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Monday, January 17, 2022 at 8/7c on TV One and Cleo TV, a division of Urban One.

Ne-Yo, host of Urban One Honors, sat down with me to discuss working with Jennifer Hudson, who is receiving the Entertainment Icon Award this year. The two have worked together on Think Like A Man soundtrack, Ne-Yo’s sophomore album, and Jennifer Hudson’s debut album. They both have made some amazing music together over the years!
